Tonja Karren

Tonja Karren joined the Nebraska Realty team as a REALTOR® in 2021.  After devoting 20 years and expertly managing 13 military moves, Tonja and her husband completed their time in United States Air Force.  She and her family loved Omaha so much they decided to stay and establish roots in the Papillion area.  Tonja's responsibilities as a REALTOR® include the research and collaboration necessary to find real estate solutions for every one of her clients. 

Finding the right HOME in a hurry is where Tonja excels.  She understands the demands of moving a household and the stresses that come along with it.  Her dedication, preparation and teamwork have been polished over many moves and she knows how to keep on a tight timeline and reduce the stressors of buying and selling homes. Upon graduation from high school and the New Horizon's School of Cosmetology, she has worked in various jobs in each community she has lived in and volunteers in a variety of non-profit, charitable organizations.  Her work experiences bring a unique and personal touch to each home buying and selling experience.  She understands how communities interact and how they can be a families most valuable asset.   She specializes in home decor, organizational home design, local education networks, and community involvement.  She personally knows the value of a place called HOME.

Outside of work, Tonja enjoys physical fitness, social events, serving others and making our communities better.  She has a passion for working with children in special education within the Papillion/LaVista School District and is a young female mentor within her church.  She can also be found within the community helping at local youth sporting events supporting her sons or at Special Olympics competitions cheering on her oldest son.       

Tonja is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®  and the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®.  

Tonja and her husband, have 3 boys, Jaxon, Logan and Maxwell.  They enjoy time together playing multiple sports, attending school events and traveling to explore new exciting places in the world.
