Having grown up working in the new construction and home remodeling industries here in Lincoln for most of my life I am excited to expand my career into real estate. It’s really exciting being part of the third generation of my family to work in the housing market here!
I have been able to acquire a wide variety of skills throughout my professional career which will be a great asset to my clients. Having started out cleaning out job sites, working throughout the various trades in the field, to material and labor estimating, managing rental properties, accounting, and finally managing marketing and social media accounts I have learned the importance of hard work, dedication, reliability, and focusing on exceeding every client’s expectations.

Barry started learning about the construction industry at a young age. His first paid job was cleaning old mortar off of used bricks, for which he was paid a penny a brick by his dad. Before going off to college you could usually find him on a jobsite framing a house, roofing, siding, installing flooring or pouring foundations. He graduated from Union College, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management.
After college he moved to North Carolina where he worked for an accounting firm performing audits as a CPA. Eventually they started to miss the Midwest and returned to Lincoln. Shortly after returning to town he went back into the family construction business. His building career to date has spanned almost thirty years and has included building everything from starter townhomes to luxury homes. One particular area of emphasis has been acreage building. In order to better serve his clients in 2018 Barry became a licensed Realtor.

2021 was a year of many changes for many people, including myself. I had decided to change careers and grow my family. Prior to becoming a Realtor at Nebraska Realty, I worked in the Dental field. Although I enjoyed Dentistry, my passion and heart lied with Real Estate. Looking at homes, discovering the potential, seeing the brand-new homes being built all excite me. With that being said I am proud to say I found my home with 402 Realty Group at Nebraska Realty.

While going through the home buying process in 2017 for myself, I realized there is a need for individuals, like myself in this industry. Individuals with knowledge about the ever-changing market is key into helping find that perfect home for you. I can say that I am learning and researching the housing market weekly to keep in line with that. Professionalism while still connecting on the human level is something I take pride in. I will never lead you in the wrong direction to my knowledge, as I’m always here for you! Guiding you on this experience whether it be on the buying, selling or investing side of real estate, I am here to be flexible to your schedule and persistent in the search for your dream home/investment. Bottom line is I am here to work together to find you the best deal in the shortest amount of time.
